
RiverHawks' Final Weekend at Home Packed with Fun

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks host the Schaumburg Boomers August 24-26 for what will be the final home weekend of the 2012 season. Plenty of great promotions are planned for the three-game series.
Friday, August 24, the first 500 fans through the gate will receive a 2012 team set of baseball cards, sponsored by LDR Construction Services, Inc. Cleaning and Restoration. Also, Euro-Tech will be giving away a brand new security door.
Saturday, August 25, is the final fireworks show of the season and takes place as the finale to Fan Appreciation Night, where numerous prizes will be given away throughout the game.
Sunday, August 26, is the final YMCA Family Night of the season. Kids (ages 3 to 12) tickets are just $2. The YMCA of Rock River Valley will be at the ballpark with extra inflatables and activities. After the game, there will be an autograph session on the field and kids can run the bases.
Friday's game will start at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games will start at 6:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 5 p.m.
