River Rats Offer Safe Revelry

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, November 25, 2009 - The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today announced that next Friday's game between the Victoriaville Tigres and the Val-d'Or Foreurs has been postponed. New date of this game is unknown.

" This decision was made following the players evaluation and the recommendation of the Val-d'Or Foreurs and League medical staff. We will reevaluate the players on Friday" indicated the Commissioner, Gilles Courteau. "Our goal is to remain proactive in regards to the health and security of our players. The medical condition of the Val-d'Or Foreurs is not sufficient to QMJHL standards."
