Bulldogs Blanked By Aeros 1-0

Hamilton, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs were shut out 1-0 by the Houston Aeros on Wednesday night in front of 2,485 fans. This was the first time this season the 'Dogs were shutout and suffered back-to-back losses in regulation.

Following two scoreless periods, Houston broke the 0-0 tie with a goal at 1:09 of the final frame. Maxim Noreau fired a shot that bounced off a few players in front of the Bulldogs' net. Jean-Michel Daoust grabbed the loose puck before skating to the right side of the ice and firing a shot past a sprawled Hamilton starting goaltender Cedrick Desjardins.

Houston Aeros starting goaltender Anton Khudobin turned aside 26 shots for his league-leading 4th shutout of the season. Desjardins made 24 of 25 shots in the loss.

The Bulldogs travel to Cleveland to battle the Lake Erie Monsters on Friday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 28th at 1:00 p.m. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820.
