
Senators Recall Forward Ryan Keller From Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 25, 2009) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forward Ryan Keller from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
Keller, 25, is Binghamton's top scorer after 20 games this season with 13 goals and nine assists. While also leading the team in plus/minus (+15), he has recorded five game-winning goals and six multi-point games.
In 90 career AHL games with Grand Rapids, Syracuse and Binghamton, Keller has recorded 54 points (28 goals and 26 assists) and has 60 penalty minutes.
Keller spent the previous two seasons playing for the Espoo Blues of the Finnish Elite League (SM-liiga). In 54 games with the Blues last season, he led the team in goals (21), assists (34) and points (55). The 5-10, 190-pound right-winger also led the Blues with 22 goals and 44 points, in addition to a team-high plus-minus rating of +22, in his first season in Finland in 2007-08.
Keller spent his entire major junior career with his hometown Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League. In four seasons, from 2001-02 to 2004-05, Keller played 257 games, registering 120 goals and 117 assists for 237 points while amassing 283 penalty minutes.
The Senators next see action tonight when they visit the New Jersey Devils. The B-Sens host the Adirondack Phantoms in their next game on Thursday, Nov. 26.
