River Otters and Reiter Frustrate IceHogs 1-0; Komets Up Next

Kevin Reiter's fifth shutout of the season, and the team's twelfth overall, gave the Missouri River Otters a 1-0 victory Sunday afternoon against the Rockford IceHogs at the MetroCentre. The River Otters will play the Fort Wayne Komets in the first round of the Colonial Cup Playoffs.

The River Otters came out flying in the first period. With five minutes remaining in the period, T.J. Kemp scored his first professional goal to give Missouri a 1-0 lead. Neither team scored in the second period, and the River Otters took a 1-0 lead into the third. Kevin Reiter stood on his head in the final period, and the River Otters won 1-0.

The River Otters next game with be Friday night against the Fort Wayne Komets in game one of the Colonial Cup Playoffs. All the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 and the B2 Webcast, located at www.riverotters.com.
