The Sacramento River Cats (87-48) extended their home winning streak to 12 games on Saturday with a 4-3 win over the Las Vegas 51s (70-63) at Raley Field. RHP Justin Duchscherer (13-2) earned the win, his club-record 13th victory, allowing just 3 ER on 7 H in 6.0 IP. RHP Justin Lehr picked up his fourth save of the season. DH Mike Lockwood led the Cats' offense with 2 H. C Mark Johnson had a team-high 2 RBI.
With the win, Sacramento is now 46-21 in 67 games at Raley Field this season. After sweeping the five-game series against Las Vegas, the Cats will begin a five-game series against the Tucson Sidewinders tomorrow (6:05 pm) at Raley Field.
