Round Rock Express News Release
Matt Holliday's one-out triple in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Tulsa Drillers to a come-from-behind, 5-4 win over the Round Rock Express Saturday night.
Round Rock led 4-3 going into the bottom of the eighth before Tulsa scratched a run off of reliever Jory Coughenour. That set up the ninth that saw Cory Sullivan reach on an error to start the inning. Holliday then got a hold of an Eric Cammack pitch to push across the winning run.
The final two innings spoiled another fine outing from starter Chad Qualls. Qualls went six innings and gave up three runs while striking out ten, the third time he's struck out double-digit batters this year.
Mike Coolbaugh led the Express offense with his sixth home run of the season along with three RBIs. Chris Burke also homered.
Scott Dohmann (9-3) got the win in relief and Cammack (0-1) took the loss.
Round Rock will now move north to play the Wichita Wranglers in the first of a four-game set starting Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
