Rome Emperors News Release
Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announce that right handed pitcher Jamie Richmond has been placed on the suspended list for violating team policy. Richmond was 7-6 with a 3.05 ERA in 25 appearances in 2007.
Clayton McMillan joins the Rome club from the Gulf Coast League Braves where he was 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA in ten appearances. McMillan, a left-hander, was the Atlanta Braves 17th round pick from Texarkana College in 2006.
Rome continues their series with the Charleston Riverdogs tonight in a doubleheader beginning at 6pm. Rome's home stand concludes Thursday against the Savannah Sand Gnats. For ticket information call the Rome Braves at 706-378-5144 or log on to www.romebraves.com.
