Winston-Salem Dash News Release

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Spencer Adams assigned to Low-A Kannapolis from Winston-Salem

- RHP Nate Jones transferred to Triple-A Charlotte to continue his rehabilitation assignment

Adams shined in a spot start for Winston-Salem in the finale of Sunday's de facto doubleheader. Adams blanked the Hillcats over six innings in the Dash's 3-0 victory. The third-best prospect in the White Sox system per MLB.com, Adams returns to the Intimidators, with whom he is 6-4 with a 3.43 earned run average.

Jones made four appearances with the Dash during his progression back from Tommy John surgery, which he had in July of last year. The right-hander gave up one run in four innings with Winston-Salem (NOTE: one of those four appearances has not been officially added in the statistics because the game was suspended [July 13 vs. Potomac).
