RHP John Lujan Promoted to Bisons

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that RHP JOHN LUJAN has been promoted to the team from Double-A Binghamton. Lujan has joined the team in Rochester and is available for the Herd's 1:05 p.m. game against the Red Wings at Frontier Field.

Lujan, 25, began the 2010 season with the Binghamton Mets and was 0-0 with a 2.89ERA and two saves in six relief appearances. The righty struck out 11 and allowed just eight hits in 9.1 innings of work. He has not allowed a run over his last four outings.

Lujan was a Rule V Draft pick from the Chicago White Sox in 2009. He entered the 2010 season a career 15-21 with a 3.75ERA in 219 appearances and seven starts in his minor league career.
