Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (5-8) play the finale of a mini two-game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox (6-7) -- Boston's top affiliate. With an 8-4 loss last night to the Sox, the 'Pigs fell to 3-3 on this eight-game, Northern Division homestand... Meanwhile, the Paw Sox previously split a four-game series at Frontier Field...
Former Phillie RHP Brandon Duckworth (3-6, 5.31 in '09) will make his 2010 season debut for LHV against former Phillie /IronPig LHP Fabio Castro (0-0, 5.14).
First-pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
NOTE:
RHP Brad Lidge will rehab here tonight as presented by Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network... Following the game, the 'Pigs will embark on an eight-game Northern Division road trip through Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Rochester.
