Winston-Salem Dash News Release

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Jimmy Lambert promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem

- LHP John Parke promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis

Lambert currently ranks second in the Carolina League with 80 strikeouts, just two punchouts behind former Dash teammate Dylan Cease. A fifth-round selection out of Fresno State University, Lambert was 5-7 with a 3.95 ERA in 13 starts for Winston-Salem. This will be his first promotion to the Double-A level.

A 21st-round pick out of the University of South Carolina in 2017, Parke will take over Lambert's spot in the Dash rotation. In 14 outings for Low-A Kannapolis, Parke was 7-4 with a 2.82 ERA with 67 strikeouts in 76.2 innings pitched. The 23-year-old was also one of three pitchers in the South Atlantic League with two complete games this year.

The Dash's current roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, with three on the disabled list and on the temporary inactive list.
