
Rheaume Returns to River Rats

Albany N.Y. - The Albany River Rats announced today that center Pascal Rheaume has cleared waivers and has been assigned to the club by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.
Rheaume, 32, went scoreless with a minus six rating in 12 games for the Devils this season. He placed third on the River Rats with 24 goals and 49 points in 78 games during the 2004-05 campaign. The Quebec native is among Albany franchise leaders in: games played (330/5th), goals (108/2nd), assists (133/4th), points (214/3rd), power play goals (28/2nd) and was a member of the 1995 Calder Cup championship squad. He has NHL totals of 39 goals, 52 assists for 91 points in 305 career games with St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, the New York Rangers and New Jersey.
The River Rats return to the ice on Friday, November 4, 2005 against the Hartford Wolf*Pack in a 7:00pm face-off at Pepsi Arena.
