Avalanche Reassign Healey to Lock Monsters

Lowell, Mass. - The Colorado Avalanche announced today they have reassigned veteran LW Paul Healey to the Lowell Lock Monsters.

Healey, named the team captain prior to the start of the 2005-06 AHL season, appeared in five games with the Lock Monsters prior to being recalled on October 26th. He notched a goal and four points with Lowell and skated in two games with Colorado, registering no points and 14 penalty minutes.

The Monsters return to action with three games this weekend. They host the Portland Pirates on Friday at Tsongas Arena and on Saturday they skate in Portland. Friday's game starts at 7:35 p.m. On Sunday, the Norfolk Admirals come to town for the first of four meetings this season. The first 500 kids 12 and under will get a Lock Monsters autograph book. After the game, kids can use their new autograph books at the team signing in the Club Room at Tsongas Arena, open to all in attendance. Game time is 4:05 p.m. Sunday home games also feature Family Four Pack specials. Purchase four tickets, four scrumptious hot dogs and four refreshing Pepsis for just $49. It's also a Louie's Little Monsters Kid's Club game, sponsored by Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, in which all members of Louie's Little Monsters receive complimentary admission on Sundays.

All Lock Monsters action, home and away, can be heard live on WCAP 980 with the "Voice of the Lock Monsters" Ryan Johnston. Lock Monsters game broadcasts can also be heard online at www.lockmonsters.com.

Individual tickets are on sale now at the Tsongas Arena box office, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
