August 21, 2019 - Atlantic League (AtL)
York Revolution News Release
(York, Pa.) - Tuesday's York Revolution game against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up on Wednesday, August 21, when the Revolution and Blue Crabs will play two seven-inning games in a single-admission doubleheader at PeoplesBank Park. Game one will begin at 5 p.m.; gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets for Tuesday's game may be exchanged for tickets to any remaining regular season home game in 2019 (based on availability), including the make-up doubleheader. Exchanges must be made in person at the ticket office at PeoplesBank Park. On game days, the ticket office is open from 10 a.m. until the end of the fifth inning. On non-game-days, the hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
While the Revs were rained out, they increased their first place lead in the Freedom Division second half standings to 1.5 games as second-place Sugar Land dropped a 3-2 final to New Britain on Tuesday evening. The Revs enter Wednesday's doubleheader with a 22-15 second half record, matching the best 37-game start to a half in franchise history.
York righty Dan Minor (7-7, 4.93) faces Southern Maryland lefty Tommy Thorpe (2-5, 6.68) in Wednesday's opener. Revs right-hander Duke von Schamann (6-4, 3.66) will go up against Crabs righty Dusten Knight (1-2, 3.31) in the nightcap. Tickets are available at YorkRevolution.com, (717) 801-HITS, and in-person at the Revs Ticket Office.
