Bridgewater, NJ- The York Revolution shut out the Somerset Patriots 1-0 before 5,529 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday night.
The Revolution broke a scoreless tie in the top of the sixth inning. Scott Grimes doubled and then scored on an RBI double by Ramon Castro.
Corey Thurman (5-1) picked up the win for York, scattering six hits over seven scoreless innings. Patriots starter Doug Arguello (3-2) allowed the one run on three hits in eight innings pitched to suffer the loss. R.J. Rodriguez earned his ninth save of the season.
