Republic FC Announce 2019 Preseason Schedule

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC announced today their preseason schedule as the club gears up for its regular season home opener on March 9 at Papa Murphy's Park.

Republic FC will play five preseason friendlies, beginning in Sacramento with a February 9th matchup against NPSL side Sacramento Gold FC at American River College. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be the first chance for fans to see the 2019 club in action. Tickets are now available online.

The club will then travel to Southern California for a week-long training camp where they will face off against Ventura County Fusion and archrivals LA Galaxy II. Republic FC will return home to take on Reno 1868 FC on Feb. 23 at Stanislaus State before wrapping up their preseason with a closed-door friendly against the UC Davis Men's Soccer Team on March 2.

"We're looking forward to bringing the team back together and kicking off a new season," said Republic FC General Manager Todd Dunivant. "Our trip to Southern California will be very beneficial for team bonding and our overall preseason schedule has been tailored to prepare the guys for our season opener against Real Monarchs."
