Utah started the third quarter with a 12-2 run and cut into Reno's lead. Orien Greene led a balanced third quarter attack for the Flash scoring eight points. Thomas scored eight third quarter points for Reno as they led 84-80.

Both teams traded baskets through the fourth quarter as the energy picked up down the stretch. The Flash took the lead 89-88 on a Greene dunk midway through the quarter but couldn't make stops to hold on to the lead. The Flash committed turnovers down the stretch as Reno capitalized and took the victory 110-103.

Krueger led the Flash with 21 points while Green had 16 points and six assists. Frahm scored 28 points and Rod Benson had 21 points and 14 rebounds for Reno.
