From the Notes

O'Brien, Dorn Make History: O'Brien became the second Aces player to homer in his first at-bat on Opening Day (Jeff Bailey, 2010). Dorn's blast in the sixth pushed he and O'Brien into elite company, as they became the first pair of Aces teammates to homer on Opening Day in the team's seven-year history.

Romak Reaching Milestones: INF Jamie Romak scored two runs last night, giving him 601 total runs scored in his career. He also notched a single in the eighth inning, the 1,000th base knock of his professional career (Minors and Majors).

#RenoRakes: The 8 runs the Aces scored is a franchise-high for Opening Day. The previous high was 5, done 3 different times.

First time for Everything: With starting pitcher Vidal Nuno batting 8th, it marked the first time in Aces history a pitcher was slated in the 8 spot in the starting lineup.
