Hagerstown Suns News Release
On Saturday, July 16th, the Hagerstown Suns will be hosting "Renew Your Vows" night at Municipal Stadium as the Suns play host to the West Virginia Power at 7:05pm.
Just prior to the game, all interested married couples will be able to take the field and have their vows renewed by Reverend Kenneth S. Valentine of the John Wesley United Methodist Church.
"There's no better place then the ballpark to renew your vows," said Suns General Manager Kurt Landes. "For many, the ballpark can be a special, sacred place. I think many couples will be thrilled with the opportunity to publicly renew their commitments to each other on a professional baseball field."
Any interested couples can sign up to renew their vows by stopping by the Fan Services booth inside Municipal Stadium the night of July 16th prior to 6:30pm or by calling the Suns front office at 301.791.6266.
Each couple that chooses to renew their vows will receive a Suns prize pack. In addition, the Suns will take a digital photo of each couple on the baseball diamond to commemorate the event.
The playoff-bound Hagerstown Suns are the single A affiliate of the New York Mets and are owned by Los Angeles based Mandalay Baseball Properties. For more information, visit the Suns online at www.hagerstownsuns.com or email us at info@hagerstownsuns.com
