
Two Braves sent to Myrtle Beach

Rome Emperors News Release
Rome, GA - Pitchers Zach Schreiber and Angelo Burrows have been sent to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. Schreiber was 1-3 with a 3.41 ERA in 24 appearances with Rome. Burrows was 3-1 with a 3.48 ERA in 16 relief appearances.
Joining the Rome team is right-handed pitcher Seth Bobbitt who joins the club from the Houston organization. He played in Lexington (SAL) last season before being picked up by the Braves in 2005. Joining Bobbitt in Rome is Michael Nix who was 1-0 in five appearances in Danville of the Appalachian League.
Make Up Game Announced - The game rained out on July 6th against the Greenville Bombers has been rescheduled as part of an afternoon doubleheader on August 14th beginning at 1pm.
