Trenton Thunder News Release

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Monday left-handed reliever Pedro Feliciano has joined the team from Class A Tampa to continue his Major League rehab. He will be in uniform Monday night for the team's game against New Britain and is expected to remain with the team for the remainder of the four game series against the Rock Cats.

Feliciano, 36, has not pitched in a Major League game since 2010 when he was a member of the New York Mets. He has been recovering from surgery to repair a torn capsule and rotator cuff in his left arm since signing a two-year contract with the Yankees before the 2011 season . In eight MLB seasons with the Mets, the lefty is 22-19 with a 3.31 ERA in 459 appearances. Feliciano made 344 appearances between 2007-10, a Major League record for a four-year span.
