Reign Trades Landry To Wings For Peralta

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, announced today that they have traded defenseman Jon Landry to the Kalamazoo Wings for forward Sal Peralta.

Peralta, 26, a rookie forward who started his professional career with the Kalamazoo Wings after being released by the Bakersfield Condors prior to the season's start, has 15 points (4g, 11a) and 18 penalty minutes in 19 games with the Wings. Peralta, who hails from Leamington, Ontario, graduated from the University of Western Ontario, where he spent five seasons with the Mustangs. Peralta recorded 159 points (68g, 91a) and 56 penalty minutes in 131 games from 2004-2009.

Landry, 25, appeared in six games with the Cincinnati Cyclones this season, notching one assist and 13 penalty minutes, before being traded to the Ontario Reign for forward Adam Henrich on November 4. Landry appeared in 18 games with the Reign, recording six points (3g, 3a) and 12 penalty minutes. The defenseman, who hails from Lexington, Massachusetts, began his professional career in Elmira after four seasons with Holy Cross College (NCAA). Landry has accumulated 37 points (10g, 27a) and 98 penalty minutes in 87 professional games.
