
Reign Host Gulls on San Antonio Regional Hospital Night Tonight

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the San Diego Gulls tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the second of 12 meetings between the two teams.
San Antonio Regional Hospital Night:
Celebrate San Antonio Regional Hospital Night! The Reign will be wearing special SARH jerseys and hosting a jersey auction. Fans are encouraged to bring canned and non-perishable food donations to the game to benefit Foothill Family Shelter . Big Win to Start the Series
The Reign and Gulls opened the SoCal Series last night in San Diego with the Reign skating away with a 1-0 victory. Goaltender Cal Petersen made 27 saves for Ontario to pick up his first pro win and shutout and forward Philippe Maillet scored the game-winning goal on the power play in the first period. Recap
Petersen Powers Through:
Rookie goalie Cal Petersen earned his first pro win and shutout last night in a 1-0 win at San Diego. The Waterloo, Iowa, native went 55-39-15 with 11 shutouts in three seasons at Notre Dame.
Brodzinski is Rolling:
Forward Jonny Brodzinski enters tonight's contest on a four-game point streak with three goals and four assists for seven points. He registered his second career hat trick for the Reign on Wednesday in a 4-2 win over San Jose in Ontario.
T.J. The Playmaker:
Forward T.J. Hensick has four assists over his last two games.
Special Teams Coming Together:
After going 0-for-19 in the first five games, the Reign are 5-for-18 on the power play in their last four contests.
