
Canucks Assign Megna to Comets

Utica Comets News Release
Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has assigned center Jayson Megna to the Utica Comets.
Megna, 27, played one game with the Canucks and has collected one assist and four penalty minutes in four games with the Comets this season. He split last season between Vancouver and Utica, where he recorded eight points (4-4-8) in 58 games with Vancouver and three points (1-2-3) in four games with the Comets.
Megna has appeared in 220 career AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Hartford and Utica. He has collected 114 points (56-58-114) and 98 penalty minutes over that span.
The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2016.
