
Anaheim Ducks Announce Roster Move

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Reto Berra to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Berra, 30 (1/3/87), went 0-1-0 with a 3.05 goals-against average (GAA) and an .880 save percentage (SV%) in two games with the Ducks this season. Signed as a free agent on July 5, 2017, Berra stopped 19-of-20 shots in his Anaheim debut on Oct. 13 at Colorado. The 6-4, 218-pound goaltender has posted a 2.88 GAA with three shutouts and a .903 SV% in 73 career NHL games with Anaheim, Florida (2016-17), Colorado (2013-16) and Calgary (2013-14).
Selected by St. Louis in the fourth round (106th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft, Berra has compiled a 26-25-7 record with three shutouts, a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 61 career AHL games. He played the majority of the 2016-17 season with Florida's AHL affiliate in Springfield, posting a 2.53 GAA, .910 SV% and three shutouts in 31 games.
