ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, 2011-12 Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, have announced that they have gone mobile! The Ontario Reign app is now available to download for iPhone and Android users free of charge.

The app, created by ClearVision Apps, puts all Reign information into the hands of the fans. The app provides news, schedules, rosters, up-to-date standings, and more. The Reign app will also let fans listen to the live radio and video broadcasts.

Dan Friedman, CEO of ClearVision Apps and an Ontario Reign season ticket holder, wanted to make sure his favorite ECHL team was available for everyone to follow, so he designed and built the first-ever Ontario Reign mobile app. He has been working with the team since the beginning of August to create and launch the app in time for the start of the 2012-13 season.

"The Reign didn't have an app and as a fan and season ticket holder I thought my home team should have one," Friedman said.

In addition to having everything one would want to know about the Reign, all of the team's social media outlets are linked as well, making liking the Reign on Facebook, following on Twitter, and subscribing in YouTube easier than ever! The app is kid-friendly with fun games, pictures and bios of the mascots and Ice Girls, and hockey 101 lessons.

The Reign App has already gone international with downloads in China, Russian, Spain, Australia, the UK, and Canada.

Friedman isn't done with the app yet. As the season progresses, he plans on adding new features including some in-game, interactive elements, and building off fan requests and ideas.

"My favorite part of the app is hearing that people are enjoying it. My main goal is to have some fun and do something different with it," Friedman said.
