Reading Royals at Elmira Jackals 7:05 p.m. ET

- Reading's Philipp Grubauer was third in the ECHL last season with a 2.22 goals-against average with South Carolina.

- Elmira's Dustin Gazley led the ECHL last season with 85 points (25g-60a), the third consecutive season a Jackal led the league in points.

- Larry Courville is Royals' all-time leader in games coached (254) and wins (132).

- Jackals defeated Reading 3 games to 2 in 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Greenville Road Warriors at Trenton Titans 7:05 p.m. ET

- Greenville head coach Dean Stork is 87-47-10 in two seasons with the club.

- Andy Bohmbach led Trenton last season with 27 goals and 64 points.

- Road Warriors T.J. Reynolds ranks 16th in ECHL history with 1,318 career penalty minutes.

- Titans were league's second-least penalized team in 2011-12 with 13.32 penalty minutes per game.

Orlando Solar Bears at Florida Everblades 7:30 p.m. ET

- Orlando's Mathew Sisca was second among ECHL rookies last season with 66 points (23g-43a).

- Greg Poss is 76-56-12 in two seasons as Florida's head coach.

- Solar Bears head coach Drake Berehowsky played 549 career games in the NHL.

- Everblades are seeking to become first team to repeat as ECHL champions since Toledo in 1992-93.

Kalamazoo Wings at Fort Wayne Komets 8 p.m. ET

- Kalamazoo has won North Division title in each of its three seasons in ECHL.

- Komets are playing their first season in the ECHL.

- K-Wings' Sam Ftorek is sixth in ECHL history with 635 games played.

- Fort Wayne head coach Al Sims was head coach for Reading in 2001-02.

Alaska Aces at Colorado Eagles 7:05 p.m. MT

- Alaska has won 40 or more games in seven of its nine ECHL seasons.

- Colorado's Kyle Jones led the ECHL last season with 31 wins.

- Aces have won four consecutive season openers.

- Eagles were third in ECHL last season with 3.47 goals per game.

Utah Grizzlies at Idaho Steelheads 7:10 p.m. MT

- Utah's Andrew Engelage was second last season with 2,970 minutes played.

- First-year Idaho head coach Brad Ralph scored 223 points (96g-127) in 295 career ECHL games with Mississippi, Augusta, Dayton, Columbia and Charlotte.

- Paul McIlveen led Utah in 2011-12 with 30 goals and 67 points.

- Steelheads have qualified for Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of their nine ECHL seasons.

Bakersfield Condors at San Francisco Bulls 7:15 p.m. PT

- Bakersfield's Brian Stewart was third in the ECHL last season with 26 wins for Elmira.

- San Francisco's Justin Bowers was third in the league last season with 78 points (19g-59a) for Greenville.

- Tyler Helfrich led Bakersfield last season with 50 points (19g-31a).

- Cow Palace was home to the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks from 1991-93.

Ontario Reign at Stockton Thunder 7:30 p.m. PT

- Ontario head coach Jason Christie is fourth in ECHL history with 350 wins.

- Stockton head coach Matt Thomas is 305-199-71 in eight seasons in the ECHL.

- Derek Couture led Ontario in 2011-12 with 60 points (28g-32a).

- Thunder have qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of the last six seasons.
