Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas - The Ontario Reign dropped the Las Vegas Wranglers 5-1 tonight as the Reign's defense limited Las Vegas' scoring opportunities to 15 shots on goal.

Ontario wasted no time taking a 1-0 lead, scoring just 1:13 into the first period off the stick of forward Mario Lamoureux. The Wranglers countered 12 minutes later, and defenseman Charlie Cook scored to tie the game 1-1.

Reign right wing Zach O'Brien opened the second with a goal 4:08 into the period, regaining the one-goal advantage for Ontario. It became a 3-1 game in favor of the Reign when right wing Brett Beebe tallied a goal with two minutes left in the period.

A double-minor for high-sticking gave the Wranglers four minutes of power play opportunity early in the third, but Las Vegas was unable to capitalize. Ontario wrapped the game with two back-to-back goals from left wing Dylan Wruck and right wing Mike Towns, securing the 5-1 win over the Wranglers.
