October 12, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
San Francisco Bulls News Release

Tonight's Matchup: This is the second of three preseason games for the Bulls, and the only exhibition matchup against the Thunder. The Bulls went 6-5-2 against Stockton in their inaugural season.

On Thursday, the Bulls opened up their preseason schedule at home with an entertaining and hard-fought 3-2 loss to the Bakersfield Condors. The Bulls went ahead 2-0 in the second period, behind goals from Dylan King and Kris Belan, 38 seconds apart. Christian Ouellet assisted on both goals and newcomer Andrew Eastman recorded an assist on the Belan tally. Bakersfield scored twice in the second period to tie the game. Then, with less than a minute remaining in the third period, Gary Steffes scored the game-winner past Bulls netminder J.P. Anderson.

Stockton, meanwhile, came from behind yesterday at home to defeat the Condors, 4-3. Joey Martin scored in overtime to lift Stockton to victory in their preseason opener. Stockton returns seven players from last season's roster. They are led by new head coach Richard Kromm.

Scott Langdon, Jordan Morrison and Dean Ouellet are expected to make their 2013-14 preseason debuts tonight.

San Francisco finishes their preseason schedule in Bakersfield, tomorrow at 4 pm.
