ANCHORAGE, Ala.- The Ontario Reign (13-10-1-1), proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, dealt the Alaska Aces (19-5-1-1) its first regulation loss in 14 games before 3,910 at Sullivan Arena Saturday night. Adrian Van de Mosselaer assisted on three of the four Ontario goals.

Saturday's game looked as if it might be a repeat of Friday. After a scoreless first period, the Aces took a 1-0 lead early in the second on Nick Mazzolini's eighth goal of the season. However, the Reign turned the tables with three goals in just over six minutes.

C.J. Stretch got Ontario on the board at 4:21 of the second, as he slapped a bouncing rebound past Gerald Coleman to even the score at one. Vincent LoVerde beat Coleman cleanly with a slap shot from the blue line to give Ontario its first lead of the series at 5:20. Derek Couture netted his team-leading thirteenth goal on the power play, as he finished a nice give-and-go with Adrian Van de Mosselaer at 10:47.

The Aces pulled Coleman for the extra attacker late in the third, but Chris Huxley nailed down the Reign win with an empty-net goal at 18:59.

Jean-Francois Berube (3-4-1) stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced for the win, while Gerald Coleman (15-4-1) made 33 saves in the loss.
