Tonight's Matchup:
The Nailers and Express play for the first time as Chicago players their second straight game on the road game and third game in three days. Chicago started the weekend off with a 5-3 win over the Elmira Jackals, but faltered in Cincinnati last night in 3-0 shutout loss. It was the first time in club history that the Express had been held scoreless in a game. The Nailers come into the contest as losers of their past two games, both 6-3 losses to the Reading Royals. The Nailers rank first in the league in both shots for and shots allowed.
Campbell returns from Springfield
Darcy Campbell, who has missed Chicago's last four games, was returned from the Springfield Falcons today. Campbell played three games with Springfield during that span, collecting two PIM. The Airdrie, Alberta, native has played in 20 games for the Chicago Express this season, scoring 20 points on two goals and 14 assists. Campbell earned his 100th North American professional point on Friday, December 9, with a first period assist against the Kalamazoo Wings.

G Rob Nolan played his first game last night since returning from the AHL, stopping 32 of 34 Cyclones shots... The Express will continue to play with less than the allowed 16 skaters for the third straight game... Chicago is 9-4-2-1 when being outshot this season... C Aaron Marvin had his five game point streak snapped last night. He had 11 points on 3g-8a in that span.
