Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks look for a third straight win when they face the Storm Chasers at 6:05 p.m. tonight at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Last Night-- Bud Norris threw five strong innings in a rehab start and the RedHawks used some early offense to defeat the Storm Chasers 4-3. In his first game action since June 12, Norris (1-0) went five strong innings and threw 75 pitches, 47 for strikes. He allowed two runs, struck out seven, and walked three. The RedHawks struck early in the first inning. Brandon Barnes singled to lead off the frame, and Jimmy Paredes promptly doubled him home. Scott Moore led off the second with a home run out to center field for his ninth blast of the season. Omaha was able to break through against Norris in the fourth when David Lough and Max Ramirez hit back-to-back home runs. The RedHawks got one run right back in the bottom of the inning, courtesy of a Brad Snyder sac fly. Ramirez hit a two-out RBI single in the sixth to pull the Storm Chasers within 4-3, but they would get no closer. Jose Valdez, Adalberto Flores, and Juan Abreu protected the one-run lead over the final three innings, as Abreu picked up his fourth save.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Paul Clemens heads to the mound, looking for his seventh win in his last nine starts...Clemens is coming off a loss last Sunday in Round Rock, where he allowed four runs and a season-high 13 hits over six innings...The Express notched at least two hits in five of six frames...Clemens has won six times in his last eight starts and is tied for third in PCL with eight wins for the season...At Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Clemens has been great, going 5-1 with a 2.31 ERA over six starts...He's allowed more than two runs just once...Clemens faced Omaha once previously on May 7...Pitching on three days' rest, Clemens got through his first two innings fine, but allowed eight runs and nine hits over his final 1.1 frames...Veteran left-hander Doug Davis makes the start for Omaha...Davis signed with the Royals on May 12 and has made six appearances for the Storm Chasers since...He has won each of his last two starts and Tuesday against Memphis he allowed just one run and four hits over six innings...The Royals are the seventh organization Davis has played for...Over 306 games in his Major League career, 92-108 with a 4.44 ERA.

Trying to Start Another Streak-- The RedHawks have won consecutive games for the first time since their nine-game winning streak was snapped on June 8.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' last seven wins, the RedHawks have scored 64 runs (9.1 rpg). In their last six losses, they have scored just eight runs (1.3 rpg). Until last night, the RedHawks had not won a game when scoring less than eight runs since a 4-3 victory over Iowa on June 5.

Close Calls-- Each of the RedHawks last six losses have come by three runs or less. Five were by two runs or less, and three were by just a single run.

Fabulous Fernando-- During his current rehab assignment, Fernando Martinez has gone 5-for-7 with two RBIs. At the time of his promotion to the Astros on June 2, Martinez was hitting .319 with eight homers and a team-leading 38 RBIs.

Walloping Wally-- Thursday night in Nashville, Brett Wallace collected his fourth career multi-homer game. His last one occurred August 19, 2009 with Sacramento when, coincidentally, the River Cats were also playing in Nashville. After combining to hit six home runs over 143 games between the RedHawks and Astros last season, Wallace has hit 14 total homers this season (RedHawks-12, Astros-2).

The Extra Bat-- The RedHawks are now 7-9 in games where a Designated Hitter is used. The team's DH's have hit .254 with six homers and 16 RBIs.

Solo Acts-- The RedHawks have allowed at least one home run in seven straight games. However, each of the last 10 homers they've surrendered have been solo shots.

Back-to-Back-- Less than a week after the RedHawks hit back-to-back homers for the first time this season, Omaha's Max Ramirez and David Lough became the first OKC opponents to hit consecutive dingers this season.

Telling a Storey-- After having to make a couple of spot starts for the RedHawks, reliever Mickey Storey has allowed one run over his last 15.0 innings, with seven hits and 12 strikeouts. After giving up a solo home run to New Orleans' Nick Green on June 10, he has retired 21 of the last 22 hitters he's faced.

Against the Storm Chasers-- The Storm Chasers swept a four-game set in Omaha, May 4-7, marking the only time the RedHawks have been swept this season...Twice the RedHawks trailed in the ninth inning only to tie the game or take the lead, but each time the Storm Chasers won with a walk-off homer...The ball was flying out of Werner Park that series, as each team hit seven homers...Scott Moore has accounted for one-third of his season's home run total (nine) in just five games against the Chasers...Omaha's Derrick Robinson is now 10-for-20 against OKC and has been on base in 14 of 24 plate appearances...With last night's win, the RedHawks snapped a six-game home losing streak against the Storm Chasers.
