Redbirds Playoff Tickets on Sale Now

MEMPHIS, Tennessee - With the magic number to secure a second-straight division championship and playoff berth at 11 with 18 games left in the regular season, the Memphis Redbirds have begun selling tickets for the 2018 Pacific Coast League Playoffs at AutoZone Park.

The Redbirds would play their first home playoff game on Friday, Sept. 7, which is Game 3 of the first round. Games would also be played at AutoZone Park on Saturday, Sept. 8 (Game 4) and Sunday, Sept. 9th (Game 5) if necessary.

If the Redbirds advance past the first round, the best-of-five PCL Championship Series would be contested at AutoZone Park on Friday, Sept. 14 (Game 3), Saturday, Sept. 15 (Game 4, if necessary), and Sunday, Sept. 16 (Game 5, if necessary).

Each playoff game features $2 beers in the Plaza before the game, with postgame fireworks scheduled for both Saturday Game 4s. Sunday's Game 5s are also Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays with free ice cream to kids 12 and under upon entering.

For each round, fans can purchase a package that includes a ticket and cookout at Game 3, plus free tickets to Game 4 and Game 5. The Game 3 cookout menu is all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, assorted cookies, Coca-Cola products, and bottled water.

Game 1: Wednesday, Sept. 5 at American Northern Division Champion

Game 2: Thursday, Sept. 6 at American Northern Division Champion

Game 3: Friday, Sept. 7 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

Game 4 (if necessary): Saturday, Sept. 8 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

Game 5 (if necessary): Sunday, Sept. 9 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

PCL Championship Series (best-of-five)

Game 1: Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Pacific Conference Champion

Game 2: Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Pacific Conference Champion

Game 3: Friday, Sept. 14 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

Game 4 (if necessary): Saturday, Sept. 15 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

Game 5 (if necessary): Sunday, Sept. 16 at AutoZone Park - time TBA

One season ago, the Redbirds defeated Colorado Springs in five games in the first round before knocking off El Paso in five games in the PCL finals to earn their third PCL title in franchise history. Should the Redbirds pull off back-to-back championships, they would become the first PCL team to accomplish the feat since Omaha in 2013 and 2014.

The Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game is set for Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Columbus, Ohio.

The Redbirds conclude their series with New Orleans tonight at 7:05, before the homestand shifts to the Round Rock Express (Rangers) tomorrow-Sunday. For more information on single-game tickets for the remainder of the regular season, visit www.memphisredbirds.com.
