Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers seek a series split when they close out their four-game road series against the Omaha Storm Chasers at 7:05 p.m. at Werner Park. Omaha leads the series, 2-1...The Dodgers have gone just 3-9 over their last 12 games.

Last Game: Arnaldo Hernandez pitched his first career nine-inning complete game, holding the Dodgers to one run and five hits, and leading Omaha to a 3-1 win Wednesday night at Werner Park. Hernandez threw 97 pitches to complete his nine innings, including 80 strikes. He never threw more than 13 pitches in an inning and did not have a three-ball count all night. After giving up back-to-back hits with one out in the second inning, Hernandez (4-1) proceeded to retire 21 of the next 23 batters and 22 of the final 25 Dodgers that stepped to the plate. He finished with six strikeouts. The Storm Chasers struck for one run in the bottom of the first inning on a two-out RBI single by Frank Schwindel. The Dodgers responded in their next at-bat. Following a single by Kyle Farmer and double by Edwin Ríos, Henry Ramos picked up a RBI groundout to make it 1-1. It turned out it was final time the Dodgers had a runner reach scoring position. Omaha regained the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning when Burns sent a two-out RBI single up the middle. One pitch into the bottom of the sixth, the Storm Chasers made it a two-run lead on a solo homer by Jack Lopez. Although he allowed seven hits and four walks, Dodgers starting pitcher Kyle Lobstein (0-4) limited the Storm Chasers to two runs over his five innings of work. The lefty notched three strikeouts and fell to 0-4 in his four starts with OKC.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Logan Bawcom (1-2) is slated to make his fifth start with OKC tonight...He last started Aug. 11 against Memphis in OKC and was charged with the loss, allowing five runs on seven hits over 6.0 innings as the Redbirds went on to a 14-0 win. Bawcom issued two walks and had three strikeouts. The Redbirds scored most of their runs during a four-run second inning...Bawcom has spent most of his time this season with Double-A Tulsa, making 12 starts and going 4-6 with a 4.43 ERA, 42 K's and 19 walks over 61.0 IP...Bawcom signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers May 16 after making three starts with the independent Sugar Land Skeeters to begin the season...The 2018 season marks his third stint in the Dodgers organization. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 17th round in 2010 from UT-Arlington...He split the 2017 season between Triple-A El Paso (San Diego) and Triple-A Nashville (Oakland), going a combined 2-5 with a 3.31 ERA over 47 relief appearances...Today is his 10th career appearance and second career start against the Storm Chasers (1-1, 3.35 ERA). Bawcom made two relief appearances against Omaha last season -- one with Nashville and one with El Paso. He also made three appearances (one start) against Omaha in 2016 with OKC (1-1, 0.00 ERA).

The Dodgers and Omaha are meeting for their third series of the season and for the first time since late June at Werner Park...The division foes split their last series June 21-24 at Omaha. The Dodgers won two of the first three games before the Storm Chasers closed out the set with an 8-0 shutout...The Dodgers won their first series of the season against Omaha, 3-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, with the Dodgers winning the middle three meetings of the series...Omaha has outscored OKC, 60-59, through the first 12 meetings of the season, and has slightly outhit OKC, 122-118...Edwin Ríos leads the Dodgers with 19 hits through 12 games, including seven doubles, a home run, seven RBI and seven runs scored...The Storm Chasers won the 2017 season series, 10-7, marking the fifth time in seven years they won the season series, as well as the seventh time in 10 years. OKC is 1-5-1 in the season series since 2011...Entering today, the Dodgers have lost 10 of their last 14 games at Werner Park.

Run Roller Coaster: After scoring at least nine runs in back-to-back games (19 runs total) against two different opponents Sunday and Monday, the Dodgers have been held to one run over the last two nights, spanning 19 innings. After racking up 19 runs and 25 hits Sunday and Monday, including 10 hits for extra bases, the Dodgers have a combined 12 hits in the last two games with two extra-base hits - both doubles by Edwin Ríos ...Going back to Tuesday, the Dodgers are 5-for-the-last-48. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, they've gone 2-for-20 with runners on base and 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position...Over the last 12 games, the Dodgers are 3-9. In the three wins, the team has batted .374 (43x115), with 31 runs, 19 extra-base hits (3 HR) and are 19-for-45 (.422) with RISP. But in the nine losses, the Dodgers have batted .235 (72x307), with 16 runs, 17 extra-base hits (0 HR) and are 11-for-68 (.162) with RISP...OKC has scored two or fewer runs in 11 of the last 18 games. The team has not hit a home run in 10 of the last 12 games, as well as eight of the last nine.

Along the Ríos Grande: Edwin Ríos doubled Wednesday and has the Dodgers' only two extra-base hits in the last two games. He has now hit safely in six straight games, going 8-for-21 with five doubles and four RBI. He's also hit safely in nine consecutive starts, batting .412 (14x34) with five multi-hit games and six RBI...Ríos has 15 hits through 12 August games and is tied with Donovan Solano for a team-best seven RBI.

Farm Fresh: Kyle Farmer went 3-for-3 last night, accounting for three of the Dodgers' five total hits, and also scored OKC's lone run of the night. Over the first three games of the current series in Omaha, Farmer is batting .545 (6-for-11) with a double, RBI and three runs scored...He has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, batting .368 (14-for-38) with five doubles, three RBI and five runs scored...Farmer leads the Dodgers with 16 hits through 12 games in August...His 17 doubles since July 1 lead all of Triple-A and are tied for second-most in the Minors.

It's Hard to Run When You Can't Walk: The Dodgers did not draw a walk last night for the second consecutive game as well as for the 12th time this season. Their 310 walks this season ranks last among the 90 Minor League teams in High-A or above and are tied for 114th among the 120 full season Minor League teams...OKC is on pace to draw 364 walks. The fewest walks the team has drawn in one season since joining the PCL in 1998 is 415 during the 2006 campaign.

The Ol' Switcheroo: Last night, Omaha native Pat Venditte made his first appearance with OKC since Aug. 5 and threw a scoreless eighth inning. He's allowed four hits over his last 12 appearances (12.1 IP), and during that same time he has allowed one run. Venditte leads all PCL relievers with both a .164 BAA and an 8.03 baserunners per nine innings rate.

Around the Horn: Last night marked the first time in exactly three years an OKC opponent threw a nine-inning complete game. The previous to do it was Chien-Ming Wang with Tacoma at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Aug. 15, 2015...After being held without a hit in back-to-back starts for just the second time this season, Donovan Solano is 5-for-14 while hitting safely in three straight games...The Dodgers are 3-2 in the finale of a four-game series when needing a win for a series split.
