RED DEER, AB - Jesse Wallin, Vice-President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today that 20-year old defenceman Nick Bell has been designated for reassignment.
Bell played in 32 games last season, scoring 1 goal and 12 assists for 13 points.
With this move, the Rebels currently have six, 20-year old players on their roster. Colin Archer, Kraymer Barnstable, Brett Ferguson, and Brad Haber are currently with the club. Willie Coetzee (Detroit) and Darcy Kuemper (Minnesota) are with their respective National Hockey League teams. Each Western Hockey League team has to be down to three, 20-year old players by October 14th
