RED DEER, AB - The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club announced the Edmonton Oil Kings selected forward Karey Pieper in today's expansion draft. He is entering his fifth season in the Western Hockey League and has also played previously with the Moose Jaw Warriors.
Pieper was a seventh round pick, 120th overall, of the Warriors in the 2002 WHL Bantam Draft.
