Peoria Rivermen News Release

The Peoria Rivermen received a boost up front today with the announcement that physical winger Ryan Reaves has been reassigned to the team from the Alaska Aces by the NHL's St. Louis Blues.

The 21-year-old Winnipeg, Manitoba native began the year in Alaska while rehabbing an off-season injury before coming to Peoria. While with the Rivermen Reaves appeared in 21 games, scoring twice and totaling three points with 39 minutes in penalties. With Alaska this year, he has a pair of goals and 42 PIMs in nine games.

Reaves will return to the team in time for this weekend's games against Lake Erie Friday and Iowa on Saturday. Both games are slated for a 7 pm puck drop.

Tickets are on sale now for all remaining Rivermen home games through the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, all TicketMaster locations, on line at www.TicketMaster.com, or charge by phone at (309) 676-8700. We'll see you at the games!
