Crunch Sign Right Wing Mathieu Beaudoin

Syracuse, NY (March 19, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed right wing Mathieu Beaudoin to a professional try-out contract.

Beaudoin, 23, has appeared in 57 games for Dayton (ECHL) this season, tallying 36 goals, 28 assists and 42 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in one game with Las Vegas (ECHL) this season, registering an assist. In addition, he has appeared in three games with Iowa and one game with Rochester earlier this year.

A native of Rock Forest, Quebec, Beaudoin played for four years at the Ohio State University (CCHA) from 2003-04 - 2006-07, where he appeared in 149 games, accumulating 52 goals, 37 assists and 118 penalty minutes.
