
Real Salt Lake Returns to League Action to Face the Chicago Fire on Saturday

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake returns to MLS regular season action after a three-week hiatus due to the FIFA break when it faces the Chicago Fire on Saturday, June 22 at 6:00p MT. Saturday's match can be seen live locally on KMYU and the KSL TV app and heard on ESPN 700.
RSL returns to league play currently holding the seventh spot in the Western Conference with a 6-8-1 (19 points) record through 15 matches.
RSL and Chicago have faced one another in the regular season on 21 occasions since 2005, with the series level at a 7-7-7 record. The Fire hold the all-time goal differential lead over RSL, owning a +5 lead in the series. The last time RSL and Chicago squared off was August 2018, with MF Damir Kreilach notching two goals on either side of halftime to give RSL the 2-1 home victory.
During its three-week break, RSL's latest match came in the form of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup's fourth round against LAFC at Rio Tinto Stadium where it ultimately fell 3-0.
