July 12, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake returns to Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, July 13 to kick off the first of two straight regular season home matches when it hosts the Philadelphia Union at 8:00p MT. The match can be seen live locally on KMYU and the KSL TV app.

Single game tickets to Saturday's match start at just $17 at RSL.com or by calling 844.REAL.TIX.

RSL is coming off a last-minute loss at the hands of the San Jose Earthquakes last Saturday where RSL nearly left Avaya Stadium with a scoreless draw before Quakes striker Danny Hoesen claimed the stoppage-time winner.

The match in San Jose marked a historic night for Major League Soccer and RSL GK Nick Rimando became the first player in league history to appear in 500 regular season matches. Rimando reached the milestone after an illustrious 20-year career in the league where he has earned and set records for matches played, matches started, goalkeeping wins, saves, shutouts and minutes played.

Philadelphia arrives in Utah sitting atop the Eastern Conference at 10-5-6 (36 points), including a 4-3-3 (15 points) road record. Most recently the Union played to a 2-2 draw with Orlando City SC last Sunday at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pennsylvania.
