Real Salt Lake Faces Crucial Match on Saturday against Minnesota United FC

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake is set to host Minnesota United FC at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, July 20 at8:00p MT in a vital Western Conference clash that could place RSL as high as fifth place in the West. Saturday's match will be broadcast live locally on KMYU, the KSL TV app and ESPN 700 radio.

RSL is coming off an emphatic 4-0 drubbing of the Philadelphia Union last Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium, a match that saw FWJefferson Savarino notch his third MLS brace in the win. His two goals and assist were enough to propel the Venezuelan to MLS Player of the Week honors for Week 19 of the season. RSL also saw goals from MFs Albert Rusnák and Damir Kreilach in the win. The match against the Union also marked the second consecutive home match where RSL did not concede a shot on goal as GKNick Rimando earned his 149th career shutout.

Minnesota arrives in Utah sitting fourth in the Western Conference with a 10-7-3 (33 points) record through 20 matches, including a 4-6-0 (12 points) road record this season. RSL and Minnesota have played to a 1-2-1 record since 2017 with RSL holding the advantage at home at 1-0-1.
