
Reading Earns Revenge on Cyclones

Cincinnati, OH -- The Reading Royals stayed alive in the post-season race while damaging the Cincinnati Cyclones' chances at securing a playoff berth.
Reading defeated Cincinnati 5-2 on Tuesday at U.S. Bank Arena, avenging a December 28 loss to the Cyclones by a 13-2 margin.
The Royals jumped to a 3-0 lead after the first period on goals from Brian McCullough, Geoff Peters, and Steve Rymsha.
In the second period, the Royals extended the advantage to 5-0 on goals from Duilio Grande and Remi Royer.
The Cyclones Bob Thornton scored two third-period goals to break the shutout bid of Reading goaltender Brandon Snee who finished the night with 40 saves..
Cincinnati hosts the Johnstown Chiefs on Friday at 7:05 PM.
