'Gades Hogan Earns AHL Call-Up

Richmond, VA – Richmond Renegades defenseman Peter Hogan has been called up to the Cleveland Barons of the AHL. Hogan will join the Barons for their game tonight at home vs. Grand Rapids.

Hogan has a pro career high eight goals and 37 points in 61 games with the ‘Gades. He opened this season with Utah of the AHL. He joins Renegades goaltender Marc Magliarditi on the Cleveland roster.

Hogan is the 10th Renegade to earn a call-up to the AHL this season and the third called up in a week. Five players called up from Richmond are currently playing in the AHL (Hogan and Magliarditi with Cleveland, Jayme Filipowicz with St. John, Daniel Goneau with Lowell, and Garret Stroshein with Portland).

The Renegades continue a nine game road trip this week with visits to Columbia (6:50 WXGI) Friday, and Greenville (7:20 WXGI) Saturday. The ‘Gades have two home games left this season: Saturday, March 29 vs. Charlotte at 7:35, and Sunday, March 30 vs. Roanoke at 5:05. For more information please call the ‘Gades office at 643-7825.
