Rattlers Roster Remains Unchanged After AFL Expansion Draft
October 6, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Arizona Rattlers News Release
PHOENIX - The New Orleans VooDoo participated in the Arena Football League's Expansion Draft selecting players for their 2007 roster.
The VooDoo suspended operations last season in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. All of the players who were under contract with New Orleans last year essentially became members of the expansion Kansas City Brigade, but had the option to come back to the VooDoo this year.
At the conclusion of today's draft, the Rattler's roster remained unchanged. The only Rattlers related transaction was the New Orleans acquisition of DB Dwaine Carpenter who spent time on the Rattlers roster last season but was not active for any games. Carpenter is currently with the St. Louis Rams.
