Raptors 905, NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced its plans to participate in the NBA G League return to play for the 2021 season.

"Raptors 905 are excited to opt-in and participate in the upcoming G League season. We are eager to continue our strong tradition of player development and have the utmost confidence in the safety of the NBA G League Campus," said VP of Basketball and Franchise Operations Courtney M. Charles.

"We worked closely with our teams, the Basketball Players Union, and public health experts to develop a structure that allows our teams to gather at a single site and safely play," said NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim. "We are thrilled to get back to basketball and to fulfill our mission as a critical resource for the NBA in developing players, coaches, referees, athletic trainers and front-office staff."

The NBA G League announced its plans today for a season restart in February, taking place at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, with the top eight teams advancing to a single-elimination playoff. Further details and a broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
