
Raptors 905 Acquires Ashton Smith

Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Tuesday it has acquired Canadian guard Ashton Smith from the NBA D-League's available player pool. Also on Tuesday, the club waived guard Mike Anderson.
Originally invited to training camp following Raptors 905's open try out September 19, Smith played in three preseason games, averaging 5.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 25.0 minutes.
Anderson saw action in one regular season game with Raptors 905, recording two rebounds and one assist in five minutes.
Raptors 905 opens its regular season home schedule on Thursday, November 19 when it plays host to the Maine Red Claws at Hershey Centre at 7:30 p.m.
