Terryberry Partners with Grand Rapids Drive to Fight Childhood Hunger

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.- (Nov. 11, 2015)- Local Grand Rapids company and Drive partner, Terryberry, will host a Charitable Jersey Takeover Night on Wed., Nov. 25th as the Drive battle the Sioux Falls Skyforce at 7pm at the DeltaPlex Arena. Players will wear customized GR Drive/Terryberry jerseys to be auctioned off post-game with all proceeds benefitting Kids' Food Basket.

The post-game auction will feature white and lead jerseys with the top five overall bidders getting a photo and meet-and-greet with the player. Those interested in purchasing a jersey can bid throughout the game with final call 10 minutes post-game.

"Terryberry is delighted to again partner with the Grand Rapids Drive to support Kids' Food Basket. Through this partnership we are able to raise awareness and funds to reduce childhood hunger in West Michigan." said Mike Byam, Terryberry Managing Partner.

Several players from the Drive will visit Kids' Food Basket Thurs., Nov. 19th to learn more about the cause and help decorate and pack Sack Suppers, nutritious evening meals. "At Kids' Food Basket, we are constantly humbled and inspired by the amazing support of community partner supporters, like the Grand Rapids Drive and TerryBerry. By attacking childhood hunger, we collectively say that we will not accept hunger in our community. Together we are empowering our next generation of leaders by providing them with the nutrition they need to succeed in school and in life." said Bridget Clark Whitney, Executive Director of Kids' Food Basket.

Kids' Food Basket will also be the 50/50 beneficiary for the night.
