(OTTAWA) June 13, 2008 - The promotions for upcoming Ottawa Rapidz home stand against their national rivals the Quebec Capitales have something for everyone.
Celebrate your Dad on Monday, June 16 as the Ottawa Rapidz honour Dad's of all ages with "Dad's Day at the Park." Add something special to this Sunday's Father's Day gift with tickets to the Ottawa Rapidz - but you don't need to buy one for Dad - he gets in free! All Dads and Grandads coming to the game get in free. It's also a great opportunity to help the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation's "Do It For Dad" campaign in the fight against prostate cancer. For anyone wearing blue or "Do It for Dad" race t-shirts or bibs, the Rapidz will donate $1 to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
On Tuesday, June 17 fans are invited to the "St. Paddy's Day in June" celebration. Fans young and old should get their green on with the Ottawa Rapidz and celebrate the land of leprechauns, pots of gold and the Irish Rovers. Sponsored by Liam Maguire's, a portion of all group ticket sales will be donated to Saint Patrick's Home of Ottawa.
"Serata Italiana" on Wednesday, June 18 is the night to celebrate the success of the 34th Annual Italian Week festival and all things Italian with the Ottawa Rapidz. Don't miss some of the coolest cars in Ottawa as the Ferrari Club of Ottawa shows off their vehicles outside the Stadium. Serata Italiana is sponsored by East Side Mario's.
