Beginning tonight at 7:05pm, the Nahsua Pride will be welcoming the first place Quebec Capitales to the Gate City for a huge weekend series! The Pride have won 7 of their last 9 games and are playing their best baseball of the season. Nashua took 1 of 3 games versus the Capitlaes in Quebec last week inside the hostile Stade Municipal. Now, its your turn to make some noise at Historic Holman Stadium for your Pride!
Not only do the Pride have the top three pitchers in the rotation going (Hideki Nagasaka, Lance Stevens, and Nicolas Suero) but, this upcoming 3-game series is also full of outstanding promotions and give-a-ways!
Tonight (Friday, 13th) - The first 1000 ticket holding fans through the main gates will recieve a free baseball car magnet!
Saturday - The first 1000 tickets holding fans through the main gates will recieve a free 2008 Nashua Pride baseball player card set. Plus, following the game, Atlas PyroVision Pyrotechnics will shoot off an amazing fireworks extravaganza!
Sunday - Is bike to the park day, sponsored by Goodale's Bike Shop. The Pride and Goodale's encourage fans to ride a bicycle to Historic Holman Stadium. Plus, the first 750 ticket holding fans to enter the main gates will recieve a free Goodale's water bottle! Sunday's game is a special 4:05pm start time.
Fried Twinkies Now on Sale! The Pride and Dudley's Concession's have brought Fried Twinkies to Pride games. The famous snack can be purchased at the fried dough stand, located on the concourse behind first base.
AutoFair K-Man Car Give-a-Way! You have the oppertunity to win a PAIR of his-and-hers cars, valued up to $50,000, when you attend a Pride game at Historic Holman Stadium. If the K-man strikes out, You Could Win!! El Guapo is back!! Rich "El Guapo" Garces is back in a Pride uniform and will be availble to pitch all weekend. El Guapo made his first appearence in 2008 on Monday, June 9th, versus New Jersey and was spectacular. He struck out the first two batters he faced on six pitches, and then got the next hitter to pop out on only the seventh pitch he threw.
